AM I?
My name is Sendy and I help students empower themselves so that they can better contribute to benefitting the world in their unique way.
TEACHING APPROACH
I facilitate and support student-centric learning through enjoyment, creativity, and multi-level application and integration.
It is my aim to support through an approach that is kind, respectful, positive, engaging, stimulating and flexible.
Over many years, I have observed that each student is unique, with different experiences, learning styles, tendencies, habits and personalities. Consequently, rather than teaching by one fixed method, I draw from various methods including, but not limited to, Montessori and educational kinesiology. I believe it is important to balance methodic structure with organic flexibility and practical application that is directly and immediately relevant to students.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
My teaching experience spans over 20 years internationally with students of all ages ranging from age 3 to adult, in individual and group environments both privately and institutionally. I speak English, Mandarin, Taiwanese and intermediate Italian.
